Lady Vols basketball had a big opportunity on Thursday and took advantage of it. Tennessee downed Kentucky 60-58 at home in a top-20 clash.
After the game, Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell and freshmen Mia Pauldo and Deniya Prawl met with the media to give their thoughts on the game. They were asked about playing without Janiah Barker, freshmen stepping up,
Pauldo finished the game as the team’s leading scorer. She produced 21 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal. Prawl posted nine points on perfect shooting from the field to go with four rebounds, four steals and a block.
Kentucky head coach Kenny Brooks also met with the media.
