Lady Vols basketball is slated for a third-straight ranked matchup this Monday when Tennessee heads to Ole Miss. However, due to inclement weather, the tip-off time has changed.

Instead of the initially slated 8:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT tip, the game in Oxford will begin at 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT. The game was initially scheduled to air on ESPNU, but it may change. The official designation will be announced later this weekend.

The Lady Vols enter the weekend ranked No. 17 in the country. The Rebels clock in at No. 18. However, the AP Poll will be updated at noon ET on Monday and both teams may be on the move. Most recently, Tennessee downed No. 11 Kentucky at home and Ole Miss beat Missouri.

The Lady Vols’ win over Kentucky came down to the wire. Tennessee had to come up with a stop at the end of regulation, with Talaysia Cooper grabbing a steal to seal the game. Mia Pauldo led the way in scoring with 21 points on 9-for-22 shooting from the field. No other Lady Vol was in double figures.

“I think we did it with defensive effort,” Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell said on how they won. “The majority of our points came from the foul line. So, when we looked at the stat sheet, the only thing I really touched base on is we got 20 more shots than them. It’s what we want all year. It’s what we want every single game.

“When we played Alabama, we got one more shot than them. If we don’t get 20 more shots against this team here today, we lose by 15. So, they did a good job with our press. We forced 21 turnovers. I think we did a good job. I think we only turned it over nine time. I don’t have a stat sheet, but we did a better job taking care of the ball and we got those possessions, which matters.”
