Tennessee football is one of the nine remaining teams in the mix for a top interior offensive lineman in the 2027 class. This past week, four-star lineman Jatori Williams named Miami, Missouri, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Florida and UT as his top nine.

Williams stands at 6-foot-5, 320 pounds. He is from Phenix City, Alabama, where he plays for Central Phenix City.

According to 247, Williams is the No. 104 recruit in the cycle. He is considered the No. 6 interior offensive lineman and No. 3 player from Alabama.

Williams picked up his offer from Tennessee back in February of 2025. This made the Vols one of the first teams in the mix for his services.

Tennessee already holds four commitments in the 2027 class. This includes four-star tackle Princeton Uwaifo, four-star defensive lineman Kadin Fife, three-star linebacker JP Peace and three-star cornerback Kamauri Whitfield. The class is still young, though, and plenty more commitments are expected to trickle in over the next year.

The Vols are coming off an extremely strong 2026 class, as well. Tennessee landed 29 commitments in the class, with 27 signed in the early signing period and two local prospects committing recently. This was headlined by a trio of five-star prospects, quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver TK Keys and offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda. The group ranks fourth in the country on 247.

In that 2026 class, Tennessee landed two players designated as interior offensive linemen. This included three-star Ed Baker, who signed in the early signing period, and three-star local prospect Jeremy George-El, who just signed on National Signing Day. Others who are listed as tackles may slide inside at the next level, as well.
