Tennessee head coach Josh Elander and two UT players met with the media on Monday morning in Knoxville to recap the Vols’ offseason and preview the upcoming season opener this weekend. Tennessee will host Nicholls in a three-game series to kick off the season, beginning this Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network+.
Elander spoke to the media for about 15 minutes on Monday as he gave player and roster updates, spoke on how the Vols handled the offseason, revealed his plan for Tennessee’s starting pitching this weekend, and much more. Tennessee also had left-handed pitcher Evan Blanco and catcher Stone Lawless answer questions from the media as well.
