No. 22 Lady Vols basketball hung around with No. 4 Texas for the entirety of the game, but fell just short. Tennessee had a chance to tie or win the game at the buzzer, but couldn’t get a shot off.
Afterward, Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell met with the media to give her thoughts. She was asked about the final possession, foul disparity and more.
Caldwell was also joined by Alyssa Latham and Talaysia Cooper to field questions. Latham finished with two points on 1-for-2 shooting from the field with four rebounds, one assist, one block, one steal and three turnovers. Cooper dropped 29 points with two assists, one rebound, two steals and nine turnovers.
Texas head coach Vic Schaefer also met with the media.
