Tennessee softball has climbed all the way up to the No. 1 ranking in the country on all four major polls. With the national spotlight on the Lady Vols, UT head coach Karen Weekly and pitchers Erin Nuwer and Sage Mardjetko met with the media.

Nuwer is off to a fantastic start to her sophomore season. She was named the SEC and D1Softball National Pitcher of the Week for her recent outings in Clearwater, Fla. She owns a 0.00 ERA and 5-0 record through six appearances and 20.0 innings pitched.
Mardjetko is getting back in the fold after battling through injury this offseason. She owns a 1.50 ERA and 1-0 record in three appearances and 9.1 innings.
