Former Tennessee tight end Miles Kitselman is going viral this week for his reaction to his 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine on Friday. The former Vol wasn’t all too pleased with his two attempts, letting out some of his frustrations following the second try in Indianapolis.

Kitselman dropped a 4.91-second 40-yard dash on the first try, followed by a 4.94 run on the second try. He clearly wasn’t all too happy with the second attempt being worse than the first one.

“What the?!” Kitselman said as he glaced to the Jumbotron and saw his second result in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Kitselman also posted a 34.5-inch vertical and a nine-foot, eight-inch broad jump during Friday’s NFL Combine workout.

After beginning his collegiate career at Hutchinson C.C. and the University of Alabama, Kitselman transferred to Tennessee for his final two college playing seasons. During those two years in Knoxville, Kitselman racked up 48 receptions, 554 yards, and six touchdowns. He also ran in a touchdown during the 2024 season.

“Kitselman has good size and will play as a connected tight end on the next level,” NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein wrote in an evaluation. “He needs to play with better hand placement and pad level, but he’s willing to put in work in-line or as a move blocker. He has above-average play speed in space and showed an ability to run a variety of routes. He has enough speed to stress man coverage into the second level. His separation underneath is average, though. Drops, double-catches and issues securing contested throws were evident in 2025. Kitselman has Day 3 draft value and could find work as a TE3/4.”

NFL’s Next Gen Stats gives Kitselman a 5.95 grade out of 8. That equals out to the “Average Backup or Special-Teamer” tier.
