Lady Vols basketball got a single-bye in the SEC Tournament, but was one-and-done once it arrived. Tennessee dropped its matchup with Alabama, 76-64, in a game in which it never held a lead. This now marks seven-straight losses for UT heading into the NCAA Tournament.
After the game, Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell met with the media to field questions. She was asked about the losing streak, the absence of Talaysia Cooper in the second half and more.
Caldwell was joined by Nya Robertson at the podium. She scored six points on 1-for-7 shooting from the field with a rebound and assist.
Alabama also had representatives meet with the media. Head coach Kristy Curry and players Jessica Timmons and Ta’Mia Scott all took to the podium.
