Tennessee basketball removed a pair of guard from the SEC injury report on Saturday. Both shooting guard Bishop Boswell and Troy Henderson are off the report and available for the Vols in their regular season finale against Vanderbilt on Saturday.
Boswell did not practice Friday as he dealt with illness. Henderson was a partial participant in Tennessee’s Friday practice as he battles the same shoulder injury that has plagued him for much of conference play.
The Vols will be without star wing Nate Ament for the second straight game as he battles a right leg injury. One of the SEC’s best freshmen, Ament is battling a high ankle sprain.
Boswell has started 26 games for Tennessee this season and is averaging 6.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 26.1 minutes per game this season. He missed three games earlier this season with a right foot injury but has otherwise remained healthy and available for Tennessee.

The 6-foot-4 shooting guard was crucial in Tennessee’s 69-65 win at Vanderbilt two weeks ago, scoring back-to-back late game buckets to turn a three-point Volunteer deficit into a one-point lead.
Henderson’s role has been more inconsistent this season. He’s played in 18 total games and is averaging 1.9 points and 1.2 assists in 7.7 minutes per game. In SEC play, Henderson has played in 12 of 17 games where he’s mostly competed for backup combo guard minutes with Ethan Burg.
With a win over Vanderbilt, Tennessee will earn the four-seed and the double-bye in next week’s SEC Tournament. A loss would have the Vols anywhere between a five and a seven-seed in next week’s tournament.
Tennessee is currently 4.5-point favorites over Vanderbilt according to the DKSportsbook. KenPom predicts Tennessee to earn a 76-72 victory over the Commodores. Tipoff between the Vols and Commodores is at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon. Matt Schumacker and Richard Hendrix are on the call for ESPN.
