Tennessee football was back in action on the practice field on Monday morning for its fifth session of spring camp. Afterward, a number of Vols met with the media for a press conference to give their thoughts on how things are going.
First, newly hired LEOs coach Andrew Jackson took to the podium. Jackson was hired by new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles to fill the place of Levorn ‘Chop’ Harbin, who was not retained. Jackson comes from Penn State, with experience under Knowles as an assistant defensive line coach.
Jackson was asked about his approach, the absence of Rodney Garner, his room and more.
After Jackson, defensive linemen Xavier Gilliam and Jordan Norman spoke with the media, as well. Gilliam transfers in on the interior of the defensive line from Penn State. Norman is an edge rusher out of Tulane.
