Chicago, IL, will take the spotlight on Friday night as the 2-seed Iowa State Cyclones and the 6-seed Tennessee Volunteers clash in a Sweet 16 matchup with a spot in the Elite Eight on the line. The two non-conference foes will square off at 10:10 p.m. ET in the world-famous United Center.

Tennessee is a point underdog heading into the game, but Iowa State is dealing with an injury concern to All-American forward Joshua Jefferson. It’ll be a true survive-and-advance type of game as the two physical squads battle against each other.

Ahead of the game on Friday, Tennessee and Iowa State both participated in media day on Thursday afternoon. Tennessee’s contingent featured head coach Rick Barnes, guard Ja’Kobi Gillespie, forward JP Estrella, and guard Amari Evans. Iowa State’s group, meanwhile, included head coach T.J. Otzelberger, Nate Heise, Tamin Lipsey, and Milan Momcilovic.
