The Wolverines are no joke, most recently coming off a 13-point win over Alabama in the Sweet 16 from Chicago. KenPom ranks Michigan as the second-best analytical team in the nation, with the league’s second-rated defense and the sixth-ranked offense. The Wolverines are led by star player Yaxel Lendeborg, who leads his team with 14.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
Tennessee has reached this point in the tournament by physical play, elite rebounding, and balanced production.
