Tennessee Baseball debuted a new uniform combination during their series finale against LSU on Easter Sunday in Knoxville. The Vols wore their normal cream-colored jerseys and pants, but added a new wrinkle with the Dark Mode hats on top. The all-black hat has an orange interlocking UT logo on the front and an orange Nike checkmark on the side.
It’s the first time that Tennessee has worn a black hat with the cream uniforms.

The new uniform didn’t provide much magic for the Vols aside from a fifth-inning grand slam, with Tennessee getting blown out in an extra-innings affair. The Vols lost a late-game heartbreaker on Friday night and came back strong to even things up on Saturday night, but another blown lead wound up spiraling into a 16-6 loss for the Volunteers.
Aside from tying the game in extra innings, the big play of the game came when Blaine Brown launched a two-out, 388-foot grand slam in the bottom of the third inning.
