Lady Vols basketball has made another splash in the transfer portal. Joining Liberty’s Avery Mills as incoming portal commits, Northern Arizona guard Naomi White has also committed to Tennessee, she announced on her Instagram.
White joins after a dominant redshirt-freshman season with the Lumberjacks. She averaged 20.4 points per game on 39% shooting from the field and 37.7% on 3-pointers. This led the entire country in scoring from a freshman. She also marked a Big Sky high in scoring, 3-point field goals made, 3-point field goals made per game and 3-point field goal percentage.
Her season, which also included averages of 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists, landed her as a First-Team All-Conference member and as the Big Sky Freshman of the Year.
This will be White’s third college in three seasons. She began her career at Grand Canyon under Molly Miller, but redshirted after not appearing in a single game. She made her way to the transfer portal to join Northern Arizona.

White is from Omaha, Nebraska, where she finished her high school career with Bellevue West. However, she was born in Cambridge, England. The 5-foot-9 guard will now have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
White is one of three players committed to play for Tennessee next season at the moment. Along with Mills, Gabby Minus is signed to join as a freshman next season. She was a four-star recruit and top-50 prospect in the 2026 class.
This limited roster comes after an exodus to the transfer portal following this past season. The Lady Vols lost all eight potential returners and the signing of five-star recruit Oliviyah Edwards. So far, two outgoing players have committed to their new schools. Alyssa Latham picked Virginia Tech, and Talaysia Cooper is staying in the SEC and headed to Ole Miss.
