Lady Vols basketball has landed one of the best young pure scorers in the country through the transfer portal. On Thursday, Northern Arizona transfer guard Naomi White announced her commitment to Tennessee.

White averaged 20.4 points per game on 39% shooting from the field and 37.7% on 3-pointers as a redshirt-freshman. This led the entire country in scoring from a freshman. She also marked a Big Sky high in scoring, 3-point field goals made, 3-point field goals made per game and 3-point field goal percentage.

White was named a First-Team All-Conference member and the Big Sky Freshman of the Year. She also produced averages of 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists on the year.

This will be White’s third college in three seasons. She began her career at Grand Canyon under Molly Miller, who now coaches Arizona State, but redshirted after not appearing in a single game. White will have three years of eligibility remaining.
