Tennessee football has a handful of players who are not dressed out and will not participate in today’s Orange & White spring game.
Linebackers Arion Carter and Jordan Burns, receiver Joakim Dodson and defensive tackle Daevin Hobbs are all not dressed for the spring game. RTI also did not spot Penn State star defensive end Chaz Coleman during pregame warmups.
Carter missed the entire of spring practice after undergoing foot surgery back in January. The senior linebacker dealt with turf toe during is junior season.
Hobbs, who missed the first month of the 2025 season due to a foot injury, had left foot surgery during spring practice and has missed extended amount of time. Both Carter and Hobbs project as starters on Tennessee’s defense next fall.
Both Burns and Dodson are depth pieces who are competing to earn depth roles as they enter their redshirt sophomore and true sophomore seasons, respectively.
