After spending her freshman season with Lady Vols basketball, former five-star recruit and McDonald’s All-American Deniya Prawl entered the transfer portal. Now, she’s found her new home, and it’s in the ACC. On Tuesday, Prawl announced she has committed to Louisville via her Instagram.

Prawl was one of five key signees for Tennessee. On ESPNW, she clocked in as the No. 17 player in the cycle. She trailed just Mia Pauldo as the highest-rated signee in the class for the Lady Vols.

In her freshman season, Prawl averaged 4.0 points per game on 41.3% shooting from the field and 14.7% from three. She also contributed 2.7 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.

Against Louisville in Brooklyn, Prawl played 14 minutes and scored just two points on 1-for-4 shooting from the field and 0-for-1 from three. She also added five rebounds to her stat line in the 89-65 loss.

More From RTI: Lady Vols Basketball Lands Commitment From Forward With SEC Experience in Transfer Portal

This season, Tennessee finished 16-14 (8-8 SEC). The Lady Vols were the 6-seed in the SEC Tournament, but lost to Alabama in the second round. They earned a 10-seed in the NCAA Tournament, but lost to NC State in the Round of 64 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

This featured an eight-game losing streak and defeats in 11 of their last 13 games to round out the year. As a result, all eight potential returners entered the transfer portal. So far, six have committed to their new schools. This includes Talaysia Cooper headed to Ole Miss, Mia and Mya Pauldo to Rutgers and Alyssa Latham and Lauren Hurst to Virginia Tech. The two who are uncommitted are Jaida Civil and Kaniya Boyd.
