Where Tennessee Basketball’s First Five Transfer Commits Land In Portal Rankings

Tennessee basketball landed its fifth commit in the transfer portal on Sunday afternoon when star VCU transfer guard Terrence Hill committed to the Vols over Kansas.

Hill is coming off a standout sophomore year at VCU where he averaged 15 points, 2.8 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-3 guard is a talented and efficient scorer, shooting 46.6% from the field and made 81 three-pointers at a 37% clip last season.

Notre Dame transfer forward Jalen Haralson committed to the Vols earlier this week over North Carolina and Ohio State. Haralson is coming off a standout freshman season where he averaged 16.2 points, four rebounds and 2.6 assists per game at Notre Dame last season.

Loyola (Chicago) center Miles Rubin committed to Tennessee last week coming off a junior season where he averaged 11.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 2.3 assists per game.

Cal combo guard Dai Dai Ames committed to Tennessee over Xavier, Kansas and Ole Miss. Ames averaged 16.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and two steals per game. The 6-foot-2 guard was an efficient scorer, shooting 46.4% from the field, 37.6% from three-point range and 85% from the foul line.

Belmont wing Tyler Lundblade committed to Tennessee over Illinois, Kansas State, Baylor and Virginia after earning MVC Player of the Year honors last season. He averaged 15.6 points while making 112 three-pointers at a 40.9% clip.
