Lady Vols basketball and Kim Caldwell are stacking up talent through the transfer portal. However, one of the recent targets to visit Knoxville has committed elsewhere. SMU guard Tyi Skinner has committed to Syracuse on Tuesday, according to a report from 247.
This comes after Skinner took a visit to both Tennessee and Alabama last week, according to a report from 247. Despite the reported visits to the SEC programs, she’s staying in the ACC instead.
Skinner most recently played at SMU. However, she was only available to play in eight games, starting in seven, before suffering a season-ending injury. Before going down, she was averaging 13.6 points per game on 35.3% shooting from the field and 30.4% on threes. She also added 3.6 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
