Tennessee football added its seventh verbal commitment of the 2027 class on Saturday. A three-star defensive back from Georgia, Carter Jamison, announced his decision to join the Vols and play for Jim Knowles’ defense.
While there is still a lot of work to be done in the class, this does take a step for Tennessee in filling out its class. It now owns the commitment of a quarterback, wide receiver, offensive lineman, defensive lineman, linebacker, defensive back and athlete.
It also moves UT around in rankings for the 2027 class. Tennessee has slipped recently with other teams adding commitments, but is still in a strong spot to finish the cycle with another impressive group of signings. At the moment, it’s in the middle of the pack in the SEC, though.
Here’s a look at where the team ranks and every individual commit.
