Tennessee Basketball has put together an impressive transfer portal class over the last few weeks. After watching six players depart the program through the portal, the Vols have gone out and signed seven strong additions to the roster. Six of those players are in 247Sports’ Top 100 player rankings, including three in the Top 25: Juke Harris (No. 8), Terrence Hill Jr. (No. 19), Jalen Haralson (No. 25), Dai Dai Ames (No. 53), Tyler Lundblade (No. 59), and Miles Rubin (No. 95).

The Vols’ haul has them as one of the standout winners across the college basketball transfer portal landscape. And On3’s Joe Tipton sees it the same way.

Tipton released a list of his Top 10 transfer portal winners on Sunday, with Tennessee coming in as the fourth team on the list. The Vols sit behind No. 1 Louisville, No. 2 Texas, and No. 3 Indiana. There are two other SEC teams on the list behind Tennessee, with No. 8 Missouri and No. 10 Vanderbilt.

Tennessee will need to put it all together on the court in the coming months leading into the paper, but it’s been a successful run of talent acquisition on paper so far. The Vols have addressed prior shooting concerns with some high-level playmakers in scorers from around the country, including breakout star Juke Harris.

Last season at Wake Forest, Harris was 16th in the nation in scoring at 21.4 points per game. The 6-foot-7 prospect has an impressive ability to at the rim, whether it be off the dribble or in transition. Combine Harris’ skills with those of Terrence Hill Jr., Dai Dai Ames, or some of the other players that Tennessee has landed, and you’ve got some nice pieces for Rick Barnes and his staff to work with.

Tennessee currently has the second-ranked incoming portal class, according to 247Sports. Last week’s addition of Juke Harris vaulted the Vols up two spots to their current ranking, trailing No. 1 Louisville and sitting right above No. 3 Texas and No. 4 Indiana.
