On Monday night, Tennessee football added to its growing class of 2027 recruiting class. The Vols landed the commitment of three-star defensive back Brandon ‘Slim’ Leavell out of Madison, Tennessee. He picked UT over the likes of Florida and Clemson.
This is now eight commitments in the 2027 class for Tennessee. The group features two consensus four-star prospects, wide receiver Kesean Bowman and offensive lineman Princeton Uwaifo, and another four-star on just Rivals, defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
While Josh Heupel and the program aren’t off to a scorching hot start to the class, it’s still a solid foundation for Tennessee to build off of heading into a critical summer stretch featuring official visits.
Here’s a look at where the team ranks and every individual commit.
