This offseason, Lady Vols basketball spent a lot of time recruiting. Tennessee landed 14 commitments, featuring 13 transfers and one international incoming freshman, to join incoming freshman Gabby Minus on the roster for next season.
Now that the 2026-27 roster is set, Kim Caldwell and her staff are turning their attention to future classes. This month, the Lady Vols have extended offers to multiple highly-touted recruits ranging from the upcoming 2027 class to the 2029 cycle.
“I think one of the biggest things, Tennessee sells itself, right?” Lady Vols new assistant coach Isoken Uzamere said. “And so that’s what kind of got the interest there. And then obviously recruiting players with a chip on their shoulder. That was it. And just being honest with them, letting them know exactly what the standard is going to be, what we’re going to do and how we’re moving forward.”
