Official visits mean we get the first look at Tennessee football recruiting targets in UT uniforms. That was the case for five-star running back David Gabriel Georges, who is currently in Knoxville for his official visit to see the Vols.
On Saturday, videos began to come out of Gabriel Georges donning a Vols Dark Mode uniform. He came out in front of the staff, current Tennessee players, other recruits and their families and more as a part of the official visit process.

More From RTI: Where Tennessee Football’s Recruiting Class Ranks After Adding Local Four-Star Tight End
According to 247 Composite, he is considered the No. 10 player in the class, No. 2 running back and top player from the state of Tennessee. Though initially from Quebec, he currently lives in Chattanooga, where he plays for Baylor School.
He is coming off a visit to see Ohio State and also has trips planned to see Ole Miss and Georgia. However, multiple early predictions have come in that he’ll land with the Buckeyes, making this official visit to Knoxville all the more important.
Gabriel Georges has a commitment date set for July 22, 2026. That will allow him to take his official visits and then return home to weigh his options before making his decision.
Currently, Tennessee owns 10 commitments in the cycle. This group is good for the No. 37 class in the nation, as it holds a trio of four-star commits on 247. This includes the commitment of local four-star tight end Malik Howard, who announced his decision on Saturday. He joins other in-state commits, wide receiver Kesean Bowman and offensive lineman Princeton Uwaifo, as the four-stars in the class.
