Tennessee Football announced on Wednesday that its Week 10 matchup against Kentucky will be a night game from Neyland Stadium. The exact kickoff time for the game is currently unknown, but it is confirmed to be happening between 6:00 p.m. ET and 8:00 p.m. ET.
The game between the two longtime border rivals will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7. The Volunteers and Wildcats are annual rivals in the new nine-game SEC scheduling format.
Both teams will be coming off an open date for the rivalry game (Oct. 31).
What is not confirmed at this time but seems very plausible is that this game will serve as the Vols’ annual Dark Mode game. It makes all the sense in the world with it being a nighttime rivalry game just a week after Halloween.
Kentucky Football fired longtime head coach Mark Stoops following the 2025 season, paving the way for the hiring of former Oregon offensive coordinator Will Stein as its next head coach.

Tennessee’s first four game times have been announced. The Vols will begin the season with a 3:30 p.m. home game against Furman, a 7:00 p.m. road game against Georgia Tech, and a 7:45 p.m. home game against Kennesaw State. Tennessee will then open its SEC slate with a Noon home game against Texas in Week 4.
From there, all we know are the time frames for the rest of the slate. Five of Tennessee’s games are in the Flex window (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET or 6-8 p.m. ET), one is in the afternoon window (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET), and two are in the night window (6-8 p.m. ET).
