On Monday, Tennessee softball landed its first commitment through the transfer portal of the cycle. The Lady Vols added a proven SEC bat in South Carolina infielder Karley Shelton. She’s coming off a junior season in which she hit at a .345 average with seven home runs.
This comes after UT has lost three players to the portal itself so far. This features starting infielder Ella Dodge, reserve outfielder Saviya Morgan and freshman pitcher Kailey Plumlee, who has since committed to Alabama.
