
Wednesday’s slate of NBA Summer League games featured two huge showings from last year’s Volunteers. Nate Ament and Ja’Kobi Gillespie both had Summer League-high scoring numbers, with Ament going for 23 points and Gillespie tallying 25 minutes.
The third of Tennessee’s trio of NBA Vols from last season was Felix Okpara, who did not play against the Clippers due to a coaches decision on the second night of a back-to-back.
