Former Tennessee Vols Jauan Jennings and Josh Dobbs had their fun after Tennessee’s win over Oklahoma but fell on the wrong side of a losing bet this past weekend.

As posted in a TikTok from Dobbs this week, the two Tennessee teammates on the San Francisco 49ers were forced to wear Arkansas gear after the Vols’ loss from teammate Brandon Allen.

Dobbs and Jennings begrudgingly wore the black and red gear as they paid up their bet.

It’s the fourth instance of Tennessee players involved with college bets this season, but it’s the first time that a Volunteer has been on the losing side of the bet.

On Sep. 11, former Vols Jerod Mayo and Joe Milton III had New England quarterback Jacoby Brissett wear a Tennessee hoodie to his press conference after the Vols’ win over NC State in Week 2 of the season.

Dobbs and Jennings also made a bet with one of their 49ers teammates for the Tennessee-Oklahoma game in Week 4, which saw Niners tight end Brayden Willis donning the Tennessee orange after the game.

“That nasty orange, nasty!” one teammate could be heard yelling in the background.

VFL Trey Smith also got in on the Tennessee-Oklahoma bet as he had three Kansas City teammates wear the orange after the Vols’ 25-15 win over the Sooners: offensive lineman Creed Humphrey, long snapper James Winchester, and former Tennessee transfer Wanya Morris.

“What an awful color, made me throw up after putting it on,” Humphrey, an Oklahoma lineman from 2017-2020, replied to Smith’s post on X.

No. 8 Tennessee will host SEC rival Florida this Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. ET in Neyland Stadium.
