Another piece of the Lady Vols’ out-of-conference schedule has an official date to write on your calendar.
Tennessee will play UConn on Feb. 1, 2026, at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut. There is no tip-off time or TV designation available at this point.
This will be the first time the Lady Vols meet the Huskies on the road since 2022, a game also played in Hartford. That time, Kellie Harper’s Tennessee squad fell 75-56.
However, in Kim Caldwell’s first season a year ago, the Lady Vols snapped a losing streak to defeat UConn. Tennessee won at home 80-76 for the first victory in the series since Pat Summitt led UT to a win in Storrs in 2007. With the teams not meeting every year between then, it was a four-game losing streak that was dismantled.
Overall, the Lady Vols are 10-17 in the series that dates back to 1995. Initially, the teams met twice a year, and sometimes even three times due to postseason matchups, in an effort to get more eyes on the sport. The series was cancelled after the 2007 win, but revived in 2020. It took another hiatus for just the 2023-24 season, as well.

On Dec. 20, UT will head back to Brooklyn, New York, for the second-straight season. This time, Tennessee will play Louisville in the event.
The full SEC schedule has not yet been released, but the Lady Vols will host Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt. Tennessee will go on the road to play Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and South Carolina.
