The Lady Vols also play an extremely tough out-of-conference schedule. Tennessee’s only home games are against ETSU, Belmont, Coppin State, Winthrop and Southern Indiana. On the road, UT will face UT Martin, MTSU, UCLA, Stanford and UConn. Neutral site games are against NC State (Greensboro) and Louisville (Brooklyn).
The Lady Vols will also play an exhibition against Columbus State on Oct. 29 open to the public. A closed scrimmage against North Carolina will also be held.
The Belmont game will be the first end of a home-and-home with Tennessee traveling to play on the road in the 2026-27 season.
“Including our conference opponents, our schedule includes the top six teams and 10 of the top 20-ranked programs in the early preseason polls,” Lady Vols coach Kim Caldwell said. “We have our work cut out for us, but I believe our challenging non-conference opponents will better prepare us for what we’re going to see in the Southeastern Conference.
“We’re a little out of balance in terms of home and away ranked opponents, and that’s something that takes some time to even out. We’ll continue to work on it going forward, but I think this year it will allow us to really test our players and get them ready for conference play.”
