Four Tennessee football players, including starting quarterback Joey Aguilar, met with the media on Wednesday morning in Knoxville before the team officially gets into game week mode starting next Monday. Josh Heupel’s team is just 10 days away from the start of the regular season with a game against non-conference foe Syracuse to kick things off on Aug. 30 in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Tennessee’s four representatives to close out the fall camp media slate included Aguilar, linebacker Arion Carter, tight end Ethan Davis, and defensive lineman Bryson Eason.

Each broke down a handful of topics, including thoughts on their position groups, their sides of the football, and improvements they’ve made to their own game ahead of the season. Aguilar’s press conference was the longest at nearly 10 minutes, breaking down a handful of topics after he was named the Vols’ starting QB on Sunday before the game against the Orange at the end of this month.
