Tennessee bolstered the future of its offensive line with a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Kamari Blair on Thursday afternoon. The commitment was a splash in the recruiting world because it was a flip from South Carolina. The 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle originally chose the Gamecocks over Tennessee and Ole Miss back in July, but Josh Heupel and his staff kept pushing forward, resulting in the flip on Thursday.

Blair’s commitment to Tennessee also means that he’s keeping his talents in the Volunteer State. He’s a native of Clarksville, TN, and plays at Kirkwood High School.

Tennessee’s newest commit in the trenches sits just outside the Top 300 in the 2026 class. Rivals’ Industry Rankings have him as a four-star prospect, the No. 224 player in the class, the No. 22 offensive tackle, and the No. 7 player from the state of Tennessee.

Blair also comes in as Tennessee’s fourth offensive lineman in the current class, alongside OT Gabriel Osenda, OT J.B. Shabazz, and IOL Edward Baker.

Aside from his work on the football field, Blair is a gifted multi-sport athlete. He’s been a local phenom in shot put and discus while at Kirkwood.
