Tennessee football is a week away from opening its 2025 season against Syracuse at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. That means we’re on the brink of game week. The Monday of game week always means the first depth chart release of the season from Tennessee.
The Vols’ depth chart is full of “ORs” as Tennessee doesn’t tip its hand at its starters and often times its top backups. If Josh Heupel elects to release a depth chart, that will certainly prove to be the case again this season.
But we’re not trying to project what the depth chart Tennessee releases is going to look like. We’re trying to project what Tennessee’s actual depth chart looks like. Today we try our hand on the offensive side of the ball before pivoting to defense tomorrow.
