At noon ET, Tennessee football gets its season started against Syracuse in Atlanta. Ahead of kickoff, which will air on ABC, the Vols have released their first official depth chart for the 2025 season.
Featured on the list are the starters on the offensive line. While there weren’t any shocking developments, it did reveal where things stand on a few position battles up front. Namely, Sam Pendleton, the Notre Dame transfer, and returner William Satterwhite are both listed as the starting center. The two have split reps throughout fall camp.
Pendleton is also listed as an option to start at right guard. He is slotted next to Jesse Perry in this role. This means it’s very likely Pendleton will be on the field at one of the two spots. He’s trying to get ready to go at center, but played only guard in game action with the Irish. Max Anderson is listed as the backup at the position.
At the other guard spot, unsurprisingly, Wendell Moe Jr. grabbed the left guard role. The Arizona transfer will be backed up by Sham Umarov.

At tackle, it’s also exactly what you’d expect. Lance Heard, the lone returning starter from a year ago, is slotted in on the left side. His backup is Bennett Warren.
On the right side, true freshman and former five-star recruit David Sanders Jr. has officially locked up the job. His backup is Brian Grant.
