Tennessee has been the flip kings of the college football recruiting world in recent weeks, flipping a trio of blue-chip recruits from SEC schools. After a big summer, the Vols are now turning their attention to flipping an ACC commit.

Four-star edge rusher Andrew Rogers is officially visiting Tennessee football for its week three showdown against Georgia this week at Neyland Stadium according to Rivals. Rogers ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 361 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. He also ranks as the No. 32 edge rusher and the No. 18 player in the state of North Carolina in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Rogers committed to Virginia Tech back in August. But it’s been a shaky first two weeks of the season for the Hokies. After a neutral site loss against South Carolina and a home loss against Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry is firmly on the hot seat.

The blue-chip recruit is high school teammates with five-star Tennessee quarterback commit Faizon Brandon at Grimsley High School in Charlotte. The Whirlies are off to a 3-0 start to the 2025 season despite Brandon missing the last two games with an injury.

Tennessee is less than a month removed from where they flipped four-star offensive lineman Kamari Blair from South Carolina, five-star receiver Tristen Keys from LSU and four-star edge rusher Hezekiah Harris.

Even after landing Harris, Tennessee is continuing to push for edge rushers in the 2026 recruiting cycle. The Vols boast commits from Harris, three-star CJ Edwards and three-star Kedric Golston II. Josh Heupel and his staff are also pursuing four-star Texas A&M edge rusher commit Tristian Givens.

Tennessee football’s 2026 recruiting class currently contains 24 commitments and ranks No. 8 nationally and No. 5 in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
