To make sure you have the right color, it’s encouraged to enter your exact seat. Some sections have a lower portion in one color and an upper section in another.

More From RTI: How Tennessee Football Freshman OL David Sanders is Listed on Availability Report Ahead of Georgia
So far under Josh Heupel, he’s had a ‘Checker Neyland’ game in each of his seasons as Tennessee football’s head coach. During his first year in 2021, the Vols dropped a night game with Ole Miss in Lane Kiffin’s return to Neyland Stadium in controversial fashion. In 2022, UT bounced back by taking down Florida. In 2023, Tennessee downed Texas A&M thanks to a Dee Williams punt return. Last season, the Vols survived their contest with Florida in overtime.
Under Heupel, Tennessee is 3-1 in ‘Checker Neyland’ games. Since its inception in 2015, the Vols are 4-4 during the event.
‘Checker Neyland’ won’t be the only festivity happening on Saturday, either. That morning, ESPN’s College GameDay will be on campus for the first time since 2022. The show will air from Ayers Hall beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
During the game, Tennessee will honor Vols legend John Henderson. The dominant defensive lineman for UT from 1998-2001 will be recognized after being named a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
“It’s a great weekend, opportunity for (ESPN College) GameDay to be here on the greatest stage in college football,” Heupel said. “And while that’s going on, get a chance to also recognize and welcome back one of our own, John Henderson, College Football Hall of Famer, one of the greatest to have ever played the position and certainly one of the greats here. It will be great to have a bunch of his teammates back here as we get a chance to celebrate him, too.”
The on-field action will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET. It will air on ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe on the call.
