Tennessee football has released its depth chart for its third game of the year. For the home opener inside Neyland Stadium against Georgia, the Vols didn’t make any changes. Even with recent injury developments, players who are confirmed not to be active this week are still listed as starters.

This features cornerbacks Jermod McCoy and Rickey Gibson III as starters at corner. However, neither will play in the game against the Bulldogs. On the defensive line, Jaxson Moi remains a starter, although he is considered doubtful. Colton Hood is likely to start at corner, with the other spot probably going to Ty Redmond, but still up in the air. Moi’s replacement could be multiple players, but likely will go to Dominic Bailey.

At right tackle, David Sanders Jr. remains listed as the starter. He missed the game against Syracuse and ETSU, which would’ve been his college debut.

As far as position battles that still remain on the depth chart, the center job was manned by Sam Pendleton in the opener. At right guard, Wendell Moe Jr. flipped sides and Sham Umarov played the left side. Right tackle was played by guard Jesse Perry with Sanders sidelined. At running back, DeSean Bishop got the first drive in both games.

On defense, the only job that had two starters listed was at safety. Edrees Farooq got the start over Kaleb Beasley in week one.
