Tennessee will close down a three-game home stretch with a non-conference matchup against UAB this Saturday afternoon in Knoxville. The Volunteers will look to get back on track after an overtime loss to Georgia last weekend, and will have a great opportunity to do so on Saturday.
The Volunteers will resume SEC play next weekend against Mississippi State with a five-game in-conference stretch on the horizon. Tennessee’s lone non-conference opponent after UAB will be New Mexico State in the third-to-last game of the season.
Tennessee’s offense has found its stride here early in the season. The Volunteers lead the SEC in points per game (52.67 PPG) and are third in the conference in total yards per game (568.67). Tennessee has been led by a strong passing game with quarterback Joey Aguilar at the helm, who currently ranks second in the SEC in both passing touchdowns (9) and passing yards (906) through three games.
Ahead of the game on Saturday afternoon, Tennessee dropped new hype videos on Friday to get fans fired up for the upcoming action.
