New York Jets at Miami Dolphins
The Jets and Dolphins are having suboptimal seasons, to put it politely. Each is winless heading into this Week 4 tilt, where someone should emerge with a win (unless, of course, these teams follow the Sunday Night Football template and finish with a tie). New York has lost nine straight in Miami, a troubling streak dating back to 2014.
Each of these teams has suffered from dreadful quarterback play, with an oft-injured Justin Fields and an oft-off-target Tua Tagovailoa. The Dolphins enter this one as a slight favorite at Hard Rock Stadium.
Cincinnati Bengals at Denver Broncos
The Bengals can’t seem to catch a break with Joe Burrow. Burrow is once again sidelined, having undergone surgery for turf toe. Burrow is facing yet another lost season, and backup Jake Browning is now tasked with steering the Cincinnati offense. The Bengals are 2-1, and in a tough AFC North, it’s difficult to see the Bengals keeping pace with the Steelers and Ravens.
The Broncos look to move to even on the year and should have a decent shot with Burrow’s absence. Quarterback Bo Nix has 535 passing yards on the season, with five touchdowns and three interceptions.
