
Tennessee baseball’s non conference schedule is not officially set but the Vols now know their opponents and schedule for the Amergy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
The Vols will face UCLA, Arizona State and Virginia Tech in their three early season games in the Lone Star State. Tennessee will face UCLA at 3 p.m. ET on Friday, Arizona State at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday morning and Virginia Tech at 10:30 a.m. ET on Sunday morning.
The broadcast details are not set for the games though FloSports has streamed the event in the past. Fans can purchase tickets for the event here.
Tennessee has played in an early season multi-team event like this each of the last four seasons. The Vols played in Houston in 2022, Arizona in 2023, Arlington in 2024, Houston in 2025 and head back to Arlington in 2026.
Tony Vitello’s program is 8-4 in their last four prominent non conference weekends. Two years ago in Arlington, they took down Texas Tech in the season opener, lost to Oklahoma in game two and then dominated Baylor in game three.

Last season, Tennessee aced its early season test by sweeping its three games against Oklahoma State, Rice and Arizona.
Most seasons, the Vols play a pretty soft non conference schedule besides their early multi-season event. Tennessee has not released its full non conference schedule as of this publication but this will be the third weekend of the season and the penultimate non conference weekend.
Tennessee officially began fall practice last week and has held a pair of scrimmages to this point before traveling to Chattanooga this weekend for an intrasquad scrimmages. Here are notes and stats from the first and second fall scrimmage.
The Vols will have a number of position battles this fall and middle infield is one of the main open competitions. Moore will compete for a starting spot, likely at second base, with others like Manny Marin, Ariel Antigua and San Diego State infielder Finley Bates.
