Every week, I’m firing up the College Football 26 video game to simulate Tennessee football’s real-life matchup. However, with the Vols having an open date this Saturday, I opted to simulate the remainder of the season, instead.
Since there is no ‘jump in’ option that lets you pick up where the real-life team left off, I had to start a few different dynasties until the simulation matched the Vols’ actual start to the year. Once I got the only loss through five games to be at home to Georgia, I simulated the rest of the way.
Here are the game-by-game results and stats along the way. It’s worth noting that the end-of-season stats don’t reflect any real-life marks through the first five games, and instead uses what the simulation had to start.
Also, Star Thomas went down with a season-ending injury, and Miles Kitselman also missed some time in the simulation.
