Dark Mode officially returns to Rocky Top this weekend when the Tennessee Volunteers host the Oklahoma Sooners this Saturday night in Neyland Stadium. With the game coming one day after Halloween, combined with the all-black uniforms that the Vols will be wearing, Tennessee’s social media team is playing into the fright night theme for the weekend.
Tennessee dropped a new video on Thursday morning ahead of the game this Saturday. The video combined the Vols’ Spooky Rocky Top theme with some elements of the Dark Mode announcement video that was released earlier in the week.
“Video department undefeated,” one user replied to the Vols’ video on social media.
We can expect a true matchup hype video on Friday evening, but this one is sure to get fans in the mood for both the game and Friday night’s Halloween festivities in the meantime.
