On Tuesday morning, the NFL released its official rosters for the 2026 Pro Bowl. This honors the best players across the league every season by a combination of votes from fans, coaches and players.
This year, it’ll be two former Tennessee football stars getting the nod to take part in the event. Both Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith and Los Angeles Rams outside linebacker Byron Young were picked.
The Pro Bowl Games will include a skills competition and then a 7-on-7 flag football game. This is scheduled for Feb. 3 in San Francisco at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Kansas City Chiefs – OL Trey Smith
This season, Smith has battled some injury, but played in his 11th game of the season this past Sunday. After getting a massive payday, he’s proving he’s worth the money, posting a 70.6 PFF grade on the year. He’s started each game he’s appeared in at right guard.
This is now back-to-back Pro Bowl nods for Smith. He is also a two-time Super Bowl champion with Kansas City, though the team has already been eliminated from playoff contention this year.
Smith played at Tennessee from 2017-20, proving to be one of the best linemen in the country. He was a two-time First-Team All-SEC and one-time Second-Team All-SEC member in his career.

Los Angeles Rams – LB Byron Young
Young has again proven to be one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. He owns 72 tackles, 11 sacks and a forced fumble for a Rams team looking to make a playoff run.
This is Young’s first Pro Bowl nod of his career. He was previously named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2023, though.
Young played for Tennessee from 2021-22 after spending time at Georgia Military College. He was named a First-Team All-SEC member in 2022.
