LSU offensive tackle transfer Ory Williams visited Tennessee football Sunday, AP Sports Agency co-founder Jacob Piasecki confirmed to RTI on Sunday night. The 6-foot-8 offensive tackle originally had plans to visit Auburn, Virginia Tech, Kentucky and UCLA after entering the transfer portal according to 247sports Matt Zenitz.
Williams played in four games for LSU in 2025, earning a 57.7 PFF grade in 150 total snaps. He came off the bench in games against SE Louisiana and Alabama while starting in LSU’s wins over Arkansas and Western Kentucky. The Arkansas game was his best performance of the season according to PFF.
The massive offensive lineman spent two years at LSU including a redshirt season in 2024. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
Williams is a San Marcos, Texas native and was a three-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting cycle. Williams ranked as the No. 433 player and No. 33 offensive tackle in the country coming out of high school according to the 247sports composite rankings.

247sports currently ranks Williams as a three-star, the No. 461 player and No. 27 offensive tackle in the transfer portal.
Tennessee football’s offensive line situation is a bit uncertain at the moment. Starting left tackle Lance Heard entered the transfer portal earlier this week. David Sanders will likely move to left tackle for next season. The Vols could easily slide Jesse Perry out to right tackle where he played early in the 2024 season while Sanders battled an injury.
But the Vols could look to add an offensive tackle like Williams in the transfer portal and keep Perry at offensive guard entering his redshirt sophomore season. On the interior, Tennessee returns center Sam Pendleton as well as guards Sham Umarov and Wendell Moe Jr.
At the very least, Tennessee needs to add depth along the offensive line after losing Heard, Bennett Warren and William Satterwhite to the transfer portal. The Vols have bee linked to a number of offensive linemen to date including Delaware’s Anwar O’Neal and Oklahoma State’s Dylan Sikorski.
