The most electric moment of the 2025 Tennessee baseball season at Lindsey Nelson Stadium came when Liam Doyle trotter in from the bullpen to “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” in game seven of the Knoxville Regional against Wake Forest.
The sold-out crowd erupted when the SEC Pitcher of the Year came out of the bullpen for what was practically the first time of the season before Doyle slammed the door on the Demon Deacons as Tennessee advanced to the super regionals for a fifth straight season.
The Vols are less than two weeks away from opening up its 2026 season with a three-game series against Nicholls at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. It’s the beginning of a new era for Tennessee as Josh Elander takes the reigns as head coach after spending the last eight years as Tony Vitello’s top assistant.
