Lady Vols basketball has another McDonald’s All-American joining the program. After committing in September and signing with Tennessee, Oliviyah Edwards has been named to the all-star game’s roster.
This is now the fourth McDonald’s All-American Kim Caldwell has signed with the Lady Vols in two years. She added Mia Pauldo, Deniya Prawl and Jaida Civil in her first year, all of whom are playing significant roles as true freshmen.
Edwards is one of two signees for Tennessee in the 2026 cycle. She joins four-star Gabby Minus, who was highly-touted, but not named to the McDonald’s All-American roster.
The game will be played at the end of March. All 16 of ESPN’s top-ranked prospects were named to the roster.

Edwards is ranked as the No. 2 player in the class by ESPN. She is from Tacoma, Washington, and stands at 6-foot-3. She projects as an immediate impact with the Lady Vols when she arrives as a freshman next season.
“She’ll be one that I think will be special to watch,” Caldwell said after Edwards signed. “She’s a great kid. She wants to get better. She wants to win. She is selfless to give every aspect of, hey, we need to do what it takes to win. And to do that at a young age, especially when she has had the attention and notoriety around her, it speaks volumes of her character.”
The Lady Vols currently sit at 14-5 (6-1 SEC). However, Tennessee has lost both of its last two games. After a tough loss to Mississippi State at home, UConn drubbed the Lady Vols by 30 on the road.
Next, the Lady Vols stay on the road. Tennessee will face Georgia on Thursday, Feb. 5. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET and will air on SECN+.
Then, the Lady Vols meet South Carolina on the road on Sunday. That game begins at 3 p.m. ET and will air on ABC.
