Tennessee Basketball picked up its fourth straight SEC win on Tuesday night in Knoxville with an 84-66 victory over Ole Miss. The Vols entered the halftime break only leading 26-25, but exploded out of the gates in the second half and used a huge run to pull away from the Rebels in the final 12 minutes of the game.
Nate Ament only scored two points in the first half. He then recorded 26 points in the second half. The freshman phenom had his game completely dialed in for the final 20 minutes as he unlocked the answers to the Rebels’ defense and made Ole Miss pay. Ament was one of four double-digit scorers for the Vols on Tuesday night, with Ja’Kobi Gillespie scoring 20, JP Estrella scoring 12, and Bishop Boswell scoring 10 points.
