Tennessee Football added a new commitment to its 2027 recruiting class on Wednesday morning with the addition of quarterback Derrick Baker. The three-star prospect from Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA, is ranked as the No. 37 quarterback in the class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
With the addition of Baker, Tennessee now has five commitments in its 2027 recruiting class, alongside four-star offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, three-star defensive lineman Kadin Fife, three-star cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, and three-star linebacker JP Peace.
Baker stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 226 pounds. He was recently a participant in the Elite 11 Nashville Regional last spring.
