Tennessee Football held an introductory press conference for new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles on Thursday afternoon in Knoxville. Knowles was hired as Tennessee’s next DC back in December and has been evaluating the roster and assembling his defensive coaching staff ever since.
While Knowles has officially been with Tennessee for a while now, Thursday’s press conference was his first appearance in front of the media. Knowles was asked about the scheme that he’s bringing to Knoxville, his familiarity with specific pieces on the roster and the coaching staff, his relationship with head coach Josh Heupel, and much more.
