On the heels of a four-game losing streak, Lady Vols basketball is set to face No. 6 LSU on the road this Thursday. Ahead of the matchup, Tennessee head coach Kim Caldwell met with the media to field questions.
Caldwell was asked about the status of Janiah Barker, what stands out about LSU, fixing fouling issues and more.
According to Caldwell, Barker is set to rejoin the team for the game against LSU. She did not travel to Oklahoma last Sunday due to not meeting team standards. Caldwell noted the expectation is that she will now play against the Tigers.
Barker is averaging 14.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game on 46.9% shooting from the field and 36.6% on threes. She has played in 24 games this year, starting in 18 of them. She has played an average of 24.1 minutes per night.
